Overview

The DevOps Engineer I will help implement CI/CD and Value Stream Delivery techniques to create reliable, automated software pipelines. This role involves cross-functional collaboration to maintain compliant, efficient systems from development through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Support development of automation tools to improve deployment speed and quality
• Work with SRE, DevOps, and Product Development teams on deployment strategies
• Implement scripts for configuration and software deployments
• Help develop metrics and dashboards based on DORA metrics
• Participate in release planning and enforcement of change management
• Contribute to performance improvements in deployment frequency and recovery times
• Write and maintain documentation including runbooks/playbooks
• Participate in a 12/7 on-call support rotation for production systems

• Experience with Linux & Windows OS
• Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash
• Monitoring: Splunk, Dynatrace, Azure Monitoring, Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana
• CI/CD Tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, Artifactory, Argo CD/Flux
• Cloud Platforms: Azure, GCP
• Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS, GKE), Helm
• Additional Tech: Anthos, Apigee, Kafka, MongoDB, SQL/Oracle DBs
• IaC Tools: Terraform, Ansible
• Programming: C#, Ruby, Perl, Java, Go, Python, PHP

Preferred Knowledge

• App security architecture, threat modeling, WAF rules (Akamai)
• Cybersecurity best practices

---

Certifications (Preferred)

• AZ-400: Microsoft DevOps Solutions
• Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer
• CKA/CKAD
• Azure or GCP Certifications

---

Experience & Education

• 1+ years in CI/CD, release management, or application delivery automation
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Advanced Technical Degree preferred
