Role Summary

• Monitor and control client operating systems for efficient performance
• Advise on technical aspects, cost, and requirements to meet system environment needs
• Prepare flowcharts, models, and feasibility studies to design possible system solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership on strategic infrastructure plans
• Support automated methodologies for server builds, firewall policies, and load balancer configurations
• Design and optimize new infrastructure solutions across multiple projects
• Maintain and automate installation and configuration procedures
• Foster knowledge sharing and cross-training within the team
• Establish and support technical policies and ensure operational team alignment
• Ensure system compliance and security standards
• Enhance infrastructure service availability and reliability
• Work with Project Managers on project progress and issue resolution

Qualifications
Minimum:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Engineering
• Red Hat Certified

Desired Skills

• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux infrastructure, OS installation, and kernel-level troubleshooting
• Experience with cloud technologies
• Familiarity with Windows servers and hypervisors
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting
