Job Summary
As a Software Engineer at Empower, you will provide development and operational support services, collaborating with business leaders, architects, and analysts to design and deploy solutions. You'll also be responsible for maintaining high-quality operational systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct code reviews and performance testing
- Deliver Appian Workflow, IDP, or RPA-based initiatives
- Recommend enhancements or custom design for Appian solutions
- Provide feedback on team performance and development
- Lead production support and application monitoring
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Collaborate across departments to resolve client issues
- Ensure security and upgrades align with the solution roadmap
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in business or computer science (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years as an Appian engineer/developer
- Experience with low-code platforms (especially Appian)
- Logical data modeling skills
- Integration experience with SAP and third-party systems
- Agile delivery experience
- Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, GitLab; ServiceNow is a plus
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments is desirable
