Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer at Caterpillar, you will design, develop, and implement hybrid-cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines for large-scale products and projects. Your expertise will span both cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and on-prem data centers, delivering world-class solutions to our global operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hybrid cloud infrastructure using DevOps methodologies.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment, configuration, and monitoring.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and JFrog.
• Work closely with development teams to support automated builds, shift-left testing, and smooth deployment.
• Implement and maintain security measures for cloud resources.
• Collaborate with network, system engineering, and cybersecurity teams for seamless integration.
• Stay up to date with cloud and DevOps best practices and emerging technologies.

Degree Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Azure Associate certification is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in building and maintaining hybrid-cloud DevOps platforms with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins), Docker/Kubernetes, and JFrog.
