Position Overview
Calix is looking for a highly motivated and talented Graduate Trainee with programming experience in the Java/J2EE stack. If you are an engineering graduate with a passion for learning and growing in the field of software development, this internship will provide you with meaningful projects to enhance your learning and business experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java/J2EE applications
- Collaborate with senior engineers to improve application performance and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team meetings
- Assist in the design and implementation of new features
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications
- Document code and processes for future reference
Qualifications
- Educational Requirements: Graduated in 2024 or 2025 with a BE/BTech in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong programming experience in the Java/J2EE stack
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
