Job Overview

Role: Graduate Trainee
Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid – work from office 20 days per quarter)
Experience: Freshers (2024/2025 graduates)
Salary: ₹5 – 7 LPA (Expected)
Qualification: BE / B.Tech

As a Graduate Trainee, you will work with the security engineering and threat intelligence teams to support network intrusion detection development. This role offers hands-on experience in cybersecurity, threat analysis, and network monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with threat researchers and security engineers to analyze network-based attacks and create detection logic.
• Perform packet-level analysis using PCAPs and tools like Wireshark or Zeek.
• Assist in developing and testing IPS/NIDS detection signatures.
• Contribute to internal tools and automation workflows using Python.
• Conduct OSINT research for emerging threats, IoCs, and TTPs.
• Create technical documentation, threat reports, and playbooks.
• Engage in technical discussions throughout the threat research and signature development lifecycle.
• Build simulated attack scenarios to validate detection capabilities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduated or final-year student (2024/2025) in Computer Science, IT, Networking, or Cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of Computer Networking, TCP/IP, OSI Model, and IDS systems.
• Familiarity with Cyber Threat Intelligence, MITRE ATT&CK framework, and malware delivery methods.
• Python programming skills for automation and utility development.
• Comfortable with Linux and Windows OS.
• Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Suricata, Snort, tcpdump is a plus.
• Coursework or experience in Network Security, Packet Analysis, or Cybersecurity is desirable.
• Excellent research aptitude, attention to detail, and communication skills.
