Job Description:
Birlasoft is hiring an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud & Infrastructure Management division. This is an excellent opportunity for seasoned professionals with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, Kubernetes orchestration, and automation tools to work on enterprise-level cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure & Services:

• Design and manage AWS services including EC2, API Gateway, Cognito, Auto-scaling, IAM, RDS, S3, Route53, Lambda, VPC, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, EventBridge, ECS, EKS, ECR, and more
• Configure networking components like subnets, security groups, and load balancers
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and GitOps workflows

Automation & Scripting:

• Automate infrastructure using CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible
• Develop deployment and maintenance scripts in Python and Bash

Observability & Monitoring:

• Set up and manage monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Kibana, Logstash, and AWS CloudWatch
• Implement centralized logging and actionable alerting

Security & Compliance:

• Design secure IAM roles and policies
• Conduct audits and ensure compliance with enterprise security standards

Application Migration & Disaster Recovery:

• Migrate legacy or hybrid workloads to AWS
• Build disaster recovery and backup strategies across regions

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on AWS infrastructure design and administration
• Deep knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
• Experience with GitHub for version control and DevOps automation
• Solid scripting experience (Python, Bash)
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and monitoring best practices

• Familiarity with AWS Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Step Functions
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation
• Advanced knowledge of CI/CD in enterprise environments
