Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated System Engineer to join Anthology’s Global Support Team. In this role, you'll provide first-level support for application and infrastructure issues, communicate with clients, document root cause analyses, and contribute to the knowledge base. You’ll work closely with global teams and get the opportunity to grow technically while supporting critical systems.

Responsibilities

First-Level Support

• Provide initial support for application and infrastructure issues
• Troubleshoot operating system, network, and application problems
• Communicate with clients via email, chat, and phone

Root Cause Analysis & Knowledge Base

• Document recurring incidents and root causes
• Create and improve knowledge base articles for internal and external use

Client Communication

• Ensure timely communication and resolution updates for clients
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients

On-Call & Shift Work

• Participate in weekend on-call rotation
• Be flexible to work in rotational shifts for 24/7 support

Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting

• Analyze root causes and implement effective solutions
• Monitor systems proactively and escalate when necessary

Collaboration & Teamwork

• Work with infrastructure, development, and support teams
• Ensure smooth issue handoffs and resolution

Required Skills

• 2 years of experience in IT support or system administration
• Experience with ticketing tools (ADO, Salesforce)
• Proficient in Windows or Linux systems
• Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with web server troubleshooting
• Knowledge of SQL (basic queries)
• PowerShell scripting
• Familiarity with Azure or AWS
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
• Fluent in English

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of VMware, Docker, or other virtualization tools
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks
