Job Description

Amgen is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and support high-quality software applications. The role involves front-end and back-end development, automation, system health monitoring, and cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy complex software solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure best coding practices.
• Work on front-end and back-end development using cloud technologies.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and adherence to best practices.
• Develop innovative solutions using generative AI technologies.
• Create and maintain software architecture and deployment documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, software bugs, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers.

Skills & Preferred Knowledge

Must-Have:

• Experience in full-stack development using JavaScript, Python, SQL/NoSQL.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in frameworks such as React.js and visualization libraries.
• API integration and serverless computing experience.
• Experience with database management, including vector databases for AI applications.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
• Experience with data processing tools like Hadoop and Spark.
• Knowledge of large language models, Langchain, and prompt engineering.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's, Master's, or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
• Experience: 1-3 years (Master's), 3-5 years (Bachelor's), 7-9 years (Diploma).
• Certifications (Preferred): AWS Developer Certification, CISSP, CompTIA Network+, SAFe Agile.
• Work Shift: Candidates should be open to working evening or night shifts as required.
