Job Description

Amgen is seeking a Python Automation Engineer to collaborate with cybersecurity teams to develop automation solutions. The role involves designing automation playbooks, integrating security tools, and developing custom APIs to enhance security operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop automation playbooks using low-code platforms.
• Integrate security tools and design custom APIs.
• Maintain technical documentation and user guides.
• Monitor and maintain automation platforms, ensuring security updates.
• Ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and provide recommendations.
• Assess security risks and guide remediation efforts.

Skills & Preferred Knowledge

Must-Have:

• Proficiency in Python scripting and automation.
• Experience with REST API technology.
• Strong Linux knowledge.
• Experience with SOAR tools (e.g., Swimlane, Cortex XSOAR).

Good-to-Have:

• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
• Experience in risk management and security governance.
• Familiarity with security architecture principles.

Preferred Certifications:

• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
• CompTIA Security+
• RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator)
