Job Description

Akamai Cloud Support is a collaborative team committed to delivering outstanding service to strategic customers across the Asia-Pacific region. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of solving complex technical challenges and ensuring customer success.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide effective solutions via tickets, emails, calls, and chat, resolving issues professionally and promptly.
• Manage and resolve incidents and escalations independently.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Services, Engineering) to ensure customer success.
• Support global high-profile events such as the Olympics, World Cup, etc.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in computing fundamentals including Linux, virtualization, containers, Kubernetes, cloud storage, and VPCs.
• Good knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, routing, load balancing, firewalls, and protocols (HTTP, SSL/TLS, TCP/IP).
• Experience in web application troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers and team members.
