Role Overview:
As a Cloud Observability Administrator, you’ll deploy and manage observability tools like Splunk, develop dashboards, automate tasks using scripts, and collaborate across client engagements to solve business problems.
What You’ll Do:
- Deploy/manage scalable, highly available Splunk architecture.
- Onboard logs from Linux, Windows, Firewalls, and network sources.
- Write SPL queries, create dashboards, alerts, and reports.
- Administer distributed Splunk environments and configurations.
- Perform Splunk upgrades and manage related apps/add-ons.
- Automate tasks using Shell/PowerShell (Python preferred).
- Work with AWS components (EC2, Lambda, EKS, CloudTrail).
- Apply Linux system administration skills.
What You’ll Bring:
- 1+ year of experience with Splunk (Development & Administration).
- Bachelor’s in CS, IT, or related discipline.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and scripting skills.
- Consulting experience on medium-large tech solutions preferred.
- Familiarity with tools like Cribl, Datadog, PagerDuty is a plus.
- Knowledge of AWS Prometheus, Grafana, APM concepts preferred.
- Splunk certification is a plus.
