Job Summary
Zoom is hiring a DevOps Engineer to join its infrastructure team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure Kubernetes infrastructure across cloud and colocation environments. The role includes enhancing automation, observability, and availability for mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage production Kubernetes clusters with a focus on high availability and scalability.
• Deploy and maintain Kubernetes architecture including networking, security, Helm, and Operators.
• Perform Linux systems administration and scripting in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Support cloud deployments across AWS, Azure, OCI, and bare-metal environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Ansible.
• Integrate monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Participate in on-call rotations and manage incident response activities.
• Follow and enforce security best practices (IAM, RBAC, encryption).

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Kubernetes in production.
• Hands-on with Linux administration, cloud infrastructure, and container orchestration.
• Proficient in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or Go).
• Familiarity with DevOps/IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and incident management.
• Understanding of security practices related to cloud infrastructure.
