Role Overview

As a DevOps VoIP Engineer, you will ensure continuous availability of critical Zoom Phone backend infrastructure. You will collaborate with diverse teams across software development, machine learning, and quality assurance to enhance Zoom’s communication solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain 24/7 uptime for Zoom Phone infrastructure.
• Monitor systems using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and other observability tools.
• Manage Linux-based environments, including network troubleshooting.
• Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Administer Redis, MySQL databases, and DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, ArgoCD.
• Ensure high availability and performance of SIP, RTP, and RTCP VoIP services.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, preferably in VoIP environments.
• 3+ years of experience managing production systems.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, and cloud environments.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and DevOps tools.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting large-scale systems.
• Understanding of VoIP technologies (SIP, RTP, RTCP) and their operational challenges.
