Role Overview

The Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining secure and scalable enterprise network infrastructure, troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking issues, and supporting cloud network environments.

You will work with advanced firewall technologies, routing protocols, and network security frameworks to maintain reliable connectivity and secure communication across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure and security systems
• Configure and manage multi-vendor firewalls including Meraki, Fortinet, Barracuda, and Ubiquiti
• Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues
• Implement and maintain routing and switching configurations
• Support VPN connectivity and secure remote access environments
• Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network environments
• Maintain network documentation and configuration records
• Implement network security best practices and compliance standards
• Support cloud network integration and hybrid infrastructure connectivity
• Ensure network availability, reliability, and performance optimization

Technical Skills Required

Networking & Routing

• Strong knowledge of Routing Protocols: BGP, OSPF
• Experience with VLAN configuration and network segmentation
• Understanding of enterprise switching infrastructure

Firewall & Network Security

• Hands-on experience with multi-vendor firewalls
• Experience managing Meraki, Fortinet, Barracuda, and Ubiquiti firewalls
• Knowledge of VPN configuration and network security practices

Cloud Networking

• Good understanding of cloud networking concepts
• Knowledge of hybrid network architecture and secure connectivity

Troubleshooting

• Advanced troubleshooting experience in Layer 2 / Layer 3 network environments
• Ability to analyze network performance, traffic flows, and connectivity issues

Preferred Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and documentation abilities
