Job Description
Wissen Technology is hiring an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and cost-optimized AWS cloud infrastructure. You will work at the intersection of DevOps automation, cloud architecture, and enterprise scalability, supporting high-impact projects for leading global financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage AWS cloud environments (EC2, S3, EKS, RDS, VPC, Lambda, etc.)
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline
- Implement security controls (IAM, KMS, WAF, Security Groups) and ensure compliance (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Set up monitoring and alerting using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and other tools
- Troubleshoot issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and improve reliability
- Collaborate with development and security teams to optimize cloud infrastructure
Required Skills
- 8+ years in cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering
- Deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, SQS, IAM, etc.)
- Proficient in scripting languages – Python, Bash
- Strong with Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, and ECS
- Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation
- CI/CD automation experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with Linux administration and networking fundamentals
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Experience with ArgoCD, FluentD, KubeCost
- Knowledge of serverless architecture and microservices
- Exposure to Windows/Linux environments, security best practices, and DevSecOps principles
