About the Role

Vendavo is seeking a talented CloudOps SRE to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our cloud services. You’ll work with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to support cloud-native applications hosted on Azure and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure (Azure & AWS)
• Create automation solutions to streamline operational tasks
• Monitor cloud environments and optimize resource usage
• Troubleshoot incidents and collaborate to minimize downtime
• Implement and maintain security and compliance practices
• Work closely with development and architecture teams
• Maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and customer operations
• Participate in 24x7 shift-based coverage

Required Skills

• 3+ years in Azure/AWS IaaS & SaaS environments
• Strong cloud infrastructure experience in production settings
• Proficiency with Terraform, CI/CD (Jenkins, Azure Pipelines)
• Scripting skills (Bash or Python)
• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, Graylog
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP)
• Experience in observability and setting SLIs/SLOs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with distributed system troubleshooting
• Linux/Unix fundamentals

• AWS/Azure certifications
• Experience with configuration tools (Ansible, Chef)
