📝 The Opportunity

Vendavo is seeking a talented CloudOps SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) to join our team and ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our cloud services. You’ll collaborate with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to manage Cloud infrastructure within Azure and AWS and contribute to the success of our cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and maintain Cloud infrastructure with optimal performance, security, and scalability
• Develop automation solutions and create scripts to streamline cloud operations
• Monitor cloud environments, optimize resource usage, and implement performance improvements
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents while collaborating with development and delivery teams
• Implement security measures to protect data and ensure compliance
• Work closely with product development, delivery, and architecture teams to evaluate and implement new services
• Create and maintain technical documentation for cloud infrastructure and customer-specific operations

🧑‍💻 Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing Azure/AWS IaaS and SaaS
• Strong production environment experience with Azure or AWS infrastructure
• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Graylog
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and protocols
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash and Python
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure Pipelines
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills
• Ability to define and implement Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs)
• Experience building observability practices and creating dashboards for real-time system health visibility
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix fundamentals and networking concepts
• Excellent communication skills when working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
