Job Description
We are looking for highly motivated Android developers to join our team as Associate Software Development Engineers (aSDEs) at Swiggy. This is your chance to contribute to one of India's leading consumer apps and gain deep hands-on experience building and scaling apps used by millions.
As an Android aSDE, you will collaborate closely with a team of passionate developers to enhance Swiggy's mobile experience across food delivery, grocery, dine-in, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin
- Understand app architecture, codebase, and functionality
- Assist in designing, implementing, and testing new features
- Integrate REST APIs and collaborate with backend teams
- Participate in code reviews and maintain best practices
- Identify and resolve issues to enhance performance and stability
- Contribute ideas to improve user experience and feature design
- Stay current with Android development tools, trends, and libraries
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of Kotlin and Android SDK
- Familiarity with OOP and design principles
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
- Effective team collaboration and communication skills
- Passion for building real-world products and writing clean code
