Position Overview
Are you passionate about ensuring flawless user experiences in mobile, web, and backend applications? Swiggy is seeking Associate Software Development Engineers in Test (ASDETs) to help maintain platform reliability for thousands of restaurant partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional testing of mobile applications (Android/iOS) to ensure seamless performance.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman to validate backend functionalities.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for thorough coverage.
- Use tools such as JIRA, Postman, and Charles Proxy for efficient testing workflows.
- Demonstrate understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing concepts.
- Manage defect life cycle, including severity and priority assessments.
- Ensure attention to detail in multi-platform testing scenarios.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to execute and validate test cases based on requirements.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Solid grasp of Testing principles and methodologies.
- Understanding of HTTP and REST concepts.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming.
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for problem-solving.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Selenium and Appium.
- Experience in Java, Selenium, or Appium is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud mobile testing tools like LambdaTest and BrowserStack is beneficial.
