Simple Logic is inviting freshers and entry-level candidates to kickstart their careers in Linux System Administration, Infrastructure Management, and Cloud Technologies.
If you have completed BE, BTech, MCA, or MSc (CS/IT/E&TC) and have a strong interest in Linux administration, server management, and database support, this is a great opportunity to begin your career in IT infrastructure and cloud operations.
The role provides hands-on exposure to Linux server environments, SQL Server operations, system monitoring, backups, recovery processes, and enterprise infrastructure support.

Position: Linux Admin Trainee / OS Admin (Linux)
Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai
Work Mode: Work From Office
Experience: Freshers Eligible
Education: BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc (CS/IT/E&TC)
Walk-in Interview Details
Walk-in Date: Thursday, March 12, 2026
Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai
Eligible candidates must register before attending the walk-in interview.
Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the in-person interview process.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in Linux system administration and infrastructure operations
- Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers
- Monitor server health, system performance, and uptime
- Assist with SQL Server installation, monitoring, and administration
- Perform database backup and recovery operations
- Execute basic SQL queries for database operations
- Assist senior engineers in troubleshooting system and server issues
- Monitor logs, alerts, and system performance metrics
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
- Support IT infrastructure maintenance and enterprise system operations
Technical Skills Required
Linux Administration
- Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Understanding of Linux commands and shell operations
- Exposure to server installation, configuration, and monitoring
Database & SQL
- Basic understanding of SQL Server administration
- Ability to run basic SQL queries
- Knowledge of database backups and recovery processes
Infrastructure & System Operations
- Basic knowledge of server monitoring and performance management
- Understanding of system troubleshooting and log analysis
- Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure environments
Soft Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work in team-based infrastructure environments
- Willingness to learn Linux, cloud technologies, and system operations
- Immediate joiners preferred
