The Junior Site Reliability Engineer will play a critical role in bridging software development and IT operations, ensuring smooth software delivery, high system availability, and operational excellence. You will work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps and SRE best practices across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Automate software deployment and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability; proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering practices.
• Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, rollbacks, and version control processes.
• Ensure system stability, scalability, and security across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Document infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational runbooks for long-term maintainability.
• Stay updated with emerging DevOps, cloud computing, and SRE technologies.

Skills & Experience

Required Skills

• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure Pipelines or Jenkins.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security best practices.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience setting up and managing a home lab or test environment.
• Familiarity with cloud security, monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
