Position: DevOps Engineer (SDE 1)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining infrastructure reliability, uptime, and high availability systems
• Support development of automation tools and DevOps workflows
• Reduce operational overhead using scripting and automation techniques
• Contribute to monitoring, alerting, and logging (observability systems)
• Work on infrastructure monitoring using industry-standard tools
• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot issues and improve system performance
• Follow best practices for cloud security, deployments, and infrastructure operations
• Improve developer experience and deployment efficiency

Technical Skills Required

DevOps & Cloud

• 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or similar providers
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows

Containerization & Orchestration

• Strong knowledge of Docker containerization
• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration and cluster management

Monitoring & Observability

• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, New Relic, or similar tools
• Understanding of logging, alerting, and system monitoring practices

Programming & Systems

• Proficiency in at least one language: Golang or Python (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Understanding of basic networking concepts and system design

Databases

• Working knowledge of MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture
• Experience improving developer productivity through automation
• Knowledge of DevOps best practices and infrastructure optimization
