Job Description
Join PhenomPeople as a DevOps Engineer II and help build world-class products and solutions while working with cutting-edge technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and automating infrastructure and deployment pipelines, as well as optimizing the developer and DevOps workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement configuration management pipelines using Chef/Salt
- Manage multiple Kubernetes (K8s) clusters
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (CI) and ArgoCD/Spinnaker (CD)
- Automate developer and DevOps flows to maximize productivity
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and developer challenges
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Develop utilities using Python and related frameworks (primarily Django)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficient with DevOps principles and concepts
- Expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) and its concepts
- Proficient in Chef/Salt and Terraform
- Programming experience with Python and Django framework
- Experience with scripting (mainly Bash or Python)
- Familiarity with BSD, GNU/Linux, or any Unix-like Operating Systems
- Experience with metrics collection and monitoring systems, such as Prometheus
