Job Overview
OpenText is looking for a skilled Software Engineer with experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline management, and cloud-native infrastructure automation. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about scripting, containerization, and infrastructure as code (IaC), and who thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
• Automate infrastructure with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Set up monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
• Apply security best practices across the DevOps lifecycle.
• Collaborate across development and operations teams to drive DevSecOps culture.
• Respond to production issues, diagnose root causes, and resolve incidents.
• Maintain version control systems (GitLab, GHE, Subversion).
• Automate repetitive tasks through scripting (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Optimize infrastructure and application performance.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of systems and processes.

Required Skills

• 2–5 years of hands-on DevOps or Software Engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Strong grasp of DevOps, Agile methodologies, and SDLC.
• Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD and version control tools.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools knowledge.
• Understanding of networking, security, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications like AWS DevOps Engineer, CKA are a plus.
