Job Overview
OpenText is seeking a motivated Associate Software Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in Java Full Stack Development. The role involves developing scalable web applications using Java/Java EE, Spring Boot, Angular, and RESTful APIs in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications with Java/Java EE, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and services.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve development and production issues.
• Contribute to Agile processes and continuous improvement practices.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Java/Java EE development.
• Proficiency in Angular (7/8), Ext JS, and UI technologies.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, XPath.
• REST API development and integration skills.
• Familiarity with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, iBATIS.
• Experience with Tomcat, WebLogic, or other app servers.
• Basic knowledge of Red Hat Linux and shell scripting.
• Experience with Git or Mercurial, Maven for build automation.
• Exposure to Docker and Ansible is a plus.
• Understanding of design patterns and database modeling.
• Agile/Scrum development methodology knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
