Your Day at NTT DATA

As an Associate DevOps Engineer, you will consult on software environments, support development teams, and contribute to DevOps pipelines and deployment. You’ll help translate business needs into technical solutions and support implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Platform Specialists with business/user requirements
• Help draft technical documents and flowcharts
• Analyze requirements and translate them into system designs
• Document procedures for application use and security
• Debug logic and data errors and escalate issues
• Support application installation and deployment
• Assist with production rollout and ongoing support
• Write operational task descriptions for production use

Knowledge and Attributes

• Entry-level knowledge in multi-tech application design
• Basic CI/CD pipeline, automation tooling, and source control experience
• Exposure to scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles
• Organized, detail-oriented, and a team player

Qualifications

• Degree: Bachelor’s in IT or related field
• Preferred Certifications:
  • DevOps
  • Agile methodologies
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Programming/scripting languages

Experience

• Entry-level experience in software development/support
• Exposure to multi-team or outsourced IT environments
• Agile/SCRUM methodology familiarity
