Job Description
Nomiso is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to join our high-impact platform engineering team. You'll be responsible for maintaining SLAs for real-time cloud services, improving automation, observability, and system availability across Kubernetes clusters and hybrid cloud environments.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor system and application metrics using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
- Build dashboards and set up automated alerts for infrastructure and applications
- Develop and manage health check automation, and participate in incident detection and response
- Collaborate with DevOps and backend engineering teams to maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Design, develop, and implement SRE best practices for fault-tolerance, scalability, and high availability
- Improve reliability via infrastructure automation (Ansible, Terraform, Helm)
- Ensure seamless deployments and production stability through proactive monitoring
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong scripting knowledge: Bash, Python, or Go
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing tools
- Familiarity with Incident Management, Runbooks, and SLO/SLI/SLAs
- Background in monitoring large-scale systems and troubleshooting live services
