This internship provides students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Cloud Infrastructure Automation, Kubernetes orchestration, container networking, and cloud-native platform engineering. Interns will collaborate with Nokia architects, cloud engineers, and network specialists to help automate infrastructure operations and support large-scale cloud deployments.

Education Requirement

• Currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Must be enrolled in an accredited university in the United States

Job Responsibilities

• Develop Low Level Design (LLD) documentation in collaboration with network planning and design teams
• Support automation implementation including development, testing, packaging, and release management
• Assist with integration and deployment of cloud infrastructure automation solutions
• Participate in hands-on delivery activities with cloud integrators
• Support deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of cloud environments
• Contribute to automation workflows for full-stack infrastructure operations
• Work closely with cloud architects and engineering teams to improve automation frameworks

Technical Skills Required

Cloud & Infrastructure Platforms

• Hands-on exposure to AWS cloud platform
• Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) and cloud-native infrastructure

Containerization & Orchestration

• Understanding of Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration
• Knowledge of Container Network Functions (CNF)

Infrastructure Automation

• Experience with infrastructure deployment and automation workflows
• Understanding of full-stack infrastructure automation

Programming & Templates

• Proficiency in JSON data structures
• Experience with Go templating frameworks
• Exposure to Helm charts or Kubernetes Operators (preferred)

Troubleshooting & Integration

• Experience troubleshooting complex network issues in cloud environments
• Understanding of cloud integration and distributed system architecture
