Qualification

• Strong knowledge of Linux internals and OS fundamentals (scheduler, memory, storage, networking, filesystems)
• Solid understanding of OSI, TCP/IP, and networking fundamentals
• Exposure to RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef)
• Familiarity with GIT concepts and terminologies
• Proficiency in shell scripting
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a diverse, team-focused environment

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of DNS-to-Deployments and large-scale infrastructure management
• Experience with HA-Proxy, Nginx, Heartbeat/KeepAlived, Pacemaker
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Redis, Cassandra
• Virtualization and containerization (Docker, KVM/Libvirt)
• Exposure to orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, OpenShift, OpenStack, GCP
• Experience managing mail servers (Postfix, Dovecot, Exim, Roundcube Webmail)
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Ruby, Golang, Perl, PowerShell

Responsibilities

• Maintain product SLA and minimize downtime
• Participate in on-call rotation, resolve escalations, and debug production issues
• Automate routine tasks through scripting
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, NetOps, and business teams
• Build self-service tools and processes for internal teams and customers
• Continuously learn and implement innovative technologies and practices
