Role Overview
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to manage distributed infrastructure across multiple data centers, ensure product SLAs, and implement innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency of technical teams. If you have a passion for learning and growth, a strong Linux background, and a drive for delivering outstanding results, we want you on our team.
Responsibilities
- Manage distributed infrastructure with open-source technologies.
- Ensure product SLAs and address critical issues in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
- Implement innovative platforms and automate processes to improve efficiency.
- Utilize data and metrics for decision-making, focusing on security and best practices.
- Automate and script tasks to reduce manual dependencies.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of Linux internals, OS fundamentals, and network principles.
- Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB).
- Proficiency in container orchestration tools (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
- Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible Tower, Chef).
- Hands-on experience with load balancers (HAProxy, Nginx, F5) and caching technologies (Redis, Memcached).
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Golang).
