Job Description:
Newfold Digital is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer (Linux) with a passion for learning, automation, and infrastructure management. This role involves managing distributed infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and implementing innovative solutions in a 24/7 on-call environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage distributed infrastructure across multiple datacenters using open-source technologies.
• Ensure product SLAs, perform capacity planning, and handle critical issues.
• Implement Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions for efficiency.
• Use data & metrics for decision-making while maintaining security and best practices.
• Focus on automation & scripting to reduce manual intervention.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of Linux internals, OS fundamentals, and networking.
• Familiarity with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) & NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB) databases.
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker Swarm, Apache Mesos).
• Expertise in configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef).
• Hands-on experience with load balancers (HAProxy, Nginx, F5).
• Experience with caching technologies (Redis, Varnish, Memcached).
• Proficiency in monitoring & logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Graylog).
• Hands-on experience with web servers (Nginx, Apache, Tomcat).
• Scripting knowledge in Python or Golang.
