Role Overview

Nasuni is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join its Infrastructure Team responsible for supporting the build systems and development infrastructure powering distributed enterprise storage platforms.

The role focuses on CI/CD automation, infrastructure reliability, workflow automation, and developer productivity improvements. The candidate will collaborate closely with software engineering, QA, and platform teams to ensure efficient software delivery and highly scalable development environments.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working with automation scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps infrastructure tools.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Management

• Maintain and manage Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
• Support automated build, test, and release workflows
• Assist with modern CI platforms such as GitHub Actions

Automation & Workflow Optimization

• Develop automation scripts using Python and Groovy
• Improve build pipeline reliability and reduce execution time
• Implement automation solutions to enhance developer productivity

Infrastructure & Environment Management

• Manage engineering build infrastructure using VMware vCenter
• Support environment provisioning and system consistency
• Manage artifact storage, monitoring systems, and logging tools

Engineering Collaboration

• Work closely with software development and QA teams
• Integrate automated testing into CI pipelines
• Support Git workflows including branching, tagging, and version control

DevOps Platform Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve system scalability and reliability
• Contribute to modernization of DevOps tools and infrastructure automation

CI/CD & DevOps Tools

• Jenkins

Programming & Scripting

• Python scripting
• Basic knowledge of Groovy

Version Control

• Strong experience with Git workflows

Operating Systems

• Hands-on experience with Linux-based environments

Cloud Platforms

• Experience working with at least one cloud platform:
  • AWS
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Infrastructure Troubleshooting

• Ability to diagnose pipeline failures and infrastructure issues

• Infrastructure as Code tools such as:
  • Terraform
