Job Description:
Kenvue is looking for a Platform Engineer to assist in developing and maintaining its Snowflake data warehouse, supporting data pipelines, and ensuring data availability for analytics and reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience with Snowflake and modern data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in building and maintaining Snowflake data warehouse components (tables, views, data models).
• Help develop and test ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion and transformation.
• Write and optimize basic SQL queries for data preparation and reporting.
• Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues with senior engineers.
• Contribute to documentation of processes, configurations, and workflows.
• Participate in team training, code reviews, and mentorship sessions.

Required Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in data-related roles or strong foundational knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) or willingness to learn.
• Exposure to Snowflake through coursework, personal projects, or internships.
• Knowledge of data warehousing or ETL processes is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in data engineering.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and take direction from senior team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, or Git.
• Experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation workflows.
• Basic scripting skills in Python or a similar language.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
