They are currently hiring a Junior DevOps Engineer.
Role Details
Position: Junior DevOps Engineer
Location: Deeside, North Wales (Head Office)
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: IT / E-commerce Engineering
Experience: Entry Level / Junior
Compensation
- Salary: £32,000 – £37,500 per year
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure following best practices
- Write and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Python and TypeScript
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
- Support microservices architecture and deployment pipelines
- Document infrastructure, runbooks, and operational processes
Technical Skills Required
Programming
- Strong knowledge of Python programming
- Basic understanding of TypeScript
Cloud & DevOps
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Architecture
- Understanding of microservices architecture
Tools & Technologies
- Experience with Git version control
Desirable Skills
- Experience with AWS CDK
- Familiarity with Docker containers
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies
- Basic knowledge of microservice development
