Role Details

Position: Junior DevOps Engineer
Location: Deeside, North Wales (Head Office)
Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation

• Salary: £32,000 – £37,500 per year

---

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure following best practices
• Write and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Python and TypeScript
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
• Support microservices architecture and deployment pipelines
• Document infrastructure, runbooks, and operational processes

Technical Skills Required

Programming

• Strong knowledge of Python programming
• Basic understanding of TypeScript

Cloud & DevOps

• Knowledge of AWS cloud services
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Architecture

• Understanding of microservices architecture

Tools & Technologies

• Experience with Git version control

Desirable Skills

• Experience with AWS CDK
• Familiarity with Docker containers
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies
• Basic knowledge of microservice development
