About the Role

As an Application Consultant – DevOps, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and improving IBM’s client-facing hybrid cloud environments, ensuring high performance and availability across enterprise systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with industry-leading cloud monitoring tools like Dynatrace, and collaborate with global teams in cloud operations, automation, and application performance management.

You’ll help clients across multiple industries accelerate their digital transformation journey through DevOps practices, cloud optimization, and AI-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day administration and support for application performance monitoring tools (Dynatrace).
• Make configuration and system-level changes for performance tuning and optimization.
• Build and maintain monitoring dashboards and reports for real-time system visibility.
• Collaborate with application and system support teams to resolve production issues and implement performance improvements.
• Manage and update Dynatrace agents across environments.
• Troubleshoot performance-related incidents in hybrid cloud systems.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and observability of mission-critical applications.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience with Dynatrace or equivalent monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, New Relic).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
• Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in AWS Cloud, Azure, or IBM Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems administration and Scripting (Shell/Python).
• Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Prior experience in Application Performance Monitoring (APM).
