About the Opportunity

IBM is hiring early professionals to join its India Systems Development Lab (ISDL). As a Software Engineer, you'll contribute to the full product lifecycle — from design and development to testing and support — in core Systems technologies like operating systems, firmware, systems software, storage software, and cloud software.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop IBM Systems products, working across geographies with engineering and product teams.
• Design, implement, test, and support software components.
• Work across technologies such as virtualization, cloud computing, operating systems, and modern DevOps practices.

---

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong skills in C, C++, Java, Python, GoLang, ReactJS, Groovy
• Good understanding of Unix/Linux internals, data structures, algorithms
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Red Hat OpenShift, and microservices
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Good communication skills and ability to work in global teams

Preferred (Bonus) Skills

• Knowledge of OpenStack, cloud app development, and DevOps tools
• Experience with Vaadin, ReactJS, Bootstrap, or Material UI
• Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL, Ansible, SQL, Node.js
• Understanding of AI/ML, NLP, data science, and server performance monitoring
