Role Overview
Join IBM Consulting to work on modernizing applications integrating IBM zOS Mainframes and cloud ecosystems including IBM RedHat OpenShift. Collaborate with global clients to accelerate cloud adoption and develop enterprise software using cutting-edge tools and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and modernize mainframe and cloud applications using Java, C#
• Utilize Spring Framework, Guava, Apache Commons, Dependency Injection techniques
• Write and optimize SQL queries and manage relational databases
• Apply knowledge of MVS, COBOL, and JCL for mainframe integration
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git, Maven, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, Jira
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Java or C# programming
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with mainframe technologies (MVS, COBOL, JCL) is a plus
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Agile development practices
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CASE tools like HPS/Appbuilder or CA:GEN/IEF
• Knowledge of IBM RedHat OpenShift and hybrid cloud architectures
