Job Description:
HSBC is seeking an experienced Java, Spring Boot & DevOps Specialist to join their technology team in Hyderabad. This role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and efficient enterprise applications using modern Java frameworks and DevOps practices. Ideal for professionals looking for high-paying IT jobs in banking technology with exposure to Agile methodologies and cloud-native deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and finalize requirements in collaboration with business teams
• Conduct impact analysis and prepare remediation plans involving cross-functional teams
• Develop, review, and maintain technical design documents and codebases
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices across Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate
• Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives using Agile, Jira, and Confluence
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git, and other DevOps tools
• Provide post-implementation support, including 24x7 on-call duties
• Ensure compliance with SOX audit and other regulatory requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8-10 years of solid Java development experience including Java 8, JSP, Servlets, JDBC
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, JUnit, Jenkins, Git, and DevOps CICD pipelines
• Strong Oracle SQL query skills
• Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum), Jira, and Confluence
• Ability to lead and mentor technical teams
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
