Role Details

Position: Junior SRE Engineer
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days/week in office)
Experience: 0–2 Years
Department: Engineering & QA

Key Responsibilities

• Support monitoring and reliability of cloud-based applications
• Set up dashboards and alerts using Prometheus and Grafana
• Monitor system health and respond to production alerts
• Troubleshoot issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Participate in incident management and on-call rotations
• Analyze monitoring data to identify trends and risks
• Maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications
• Collaborate with development teams for production support

Technical Skills Required

Monitoring & Observability

• Basic knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
• Understanding of logs, metrics, and dashboards

Cloud & DevOps

• Familiarity with AWS / Azure / GCP
• Understanding of DevOps and SRE concepts

Containers & Orchestration

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization

Networking

• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS

Preferred Skills

• Scripting knowledge in Python or Shell
• Familiarity with Linux systems
• Interest in distributed systems and cloud architectures
• Understanding of automation and reliability engineering

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 0–2 years of experience (including internships)
• Willingness to work in on-call / night shift environments
