Job Description:

As a Graduate Engineer Trainee, you will be part of Molex – GES. You will be responsible for:

  • Understanding customer requests and working independently on 3D modeling, 2D drawing creation, and CAD data migration to PDM.
  • Project planning, prioritizing, and solving problems to meet objectives and deadlines.
  • Supporting customers with CAD services as per their requirements.
  • Attending calls/meetings to update project statuses.
  • Ensuring the quality and timely delivery of outputs.
  • Contributing to professional development and gaining technical expertise.
  • Converting legacy 2D data to 3D models, creating engineering and product specifications, and managing engineering documents.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Industrial Production/Industrial Management Engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of NX CAD tools and PLM (ECTR/Teamcenter).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with NX CAD tools and diverse technical skills.
  • Knowledge of PLM tools like Teamcenter or ECTR.
  • Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Proficiency in other CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and tools like Power BI.
  • Understanding of complex technical concepts and systematic problem-solving tools (e.g., cause/effect diagrams).
