Role Responsibilities

As a Java, Unix Application Support, you will:

• Provide technical support for software production processing environments.
• Install, maintain, and support application/source code and its components.
• Detect, diagnose, and report problems with applications and supporting software components.
• Analyze and resolve incidents, problems, or known errors related to software failures.
• Assist programming staff in analyzing application software, performance, and resource consumption.

What You Bring:

• 6 to 12 years of experience.
• Experience in Java Web application debugging, Linux, and Bash/Shell/Python Scripting.
• Basic experience in Middleware (Tomcat or any other web server), basic Networking, and SQL.
• Exposure to Streaming Data (preferably Kafka) and ELK stack (preferred).
• Experience with log monitoring (Splunk, ELK) and monitoring/debugging (Dynatrace).
• Knowledge of Web Applications from a Microservices standpoint.
• Strong debugging skills and ability to resolve day-to-day incident tickets.
• Good interpersonal and team-building skills with conflict management abilities.
