Job Overview – Software Engineer 1

FactSet is hiring a Software Engineer 1 in Hyderabad, India to join its Client Services Engineering (CSE) – Production Services team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on modern web applications using Vue.js (frontend) and .NET Core (backend) while collaborating with global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Vue.js (frontend) and .NET Core (backend).
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, and participate in peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with other developers to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Work with cross-functional teams to establish best development practices.
• Apply data structures and algorithms to optimize application performance.
• Support SQL database operations and assist in query optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies such as Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Familiarity with .NET Core for backend development.
• Exposure to relational databases and SQL (SQL Server preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
