Job Overview

As a Junior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Equiniti, you will work on monitoring, automation, and infrastructure management of global fintech platforms.
You’ll ensure uptime, scalability, and performance for critical financial systems used by millions of customers worldwide.

This role is ideal for freshers and early-career engineers seeking to build expertise in AWS Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, and SRE operations across high-paying international markets like the US, UK, Canada, and Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor IT infrastructure, servers, and cloud applications using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Investigate system alerts, perform root cause analysis, and document resolutions.
• Run and monitor scheduled jobs, batch processes, and system backups.
• Perform IIS web monitoring and basic website troubleshooting.
• Manage Level-1 support for operating systems and applications.
• Ensure adherence to KPI/SLA targets for uptime and response times.
• Collaborate with peers during transition and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Create and update operational documentation and SOPs.

Technical Skills

• Monitoring Tools: New Relic (understanding of synthetics, alert configuration)
• Cloud Platforms: Basic understanding of AWS Cloud Services preferred
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet
• Programming/Scripting: Basics of Java, JSON, YAML, Python, Bash, Go, Ruby, PowerShell
• Automation: Experience automating routine tasks and system processes
• Database Skills: SQL query knowledge for operational checks
• Containerization: Awareness of Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration tools
