Job Description

Role Overview

As an Infrastructure Operations Engineer II, you will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of infrastructure systems supporting our global software environment. You will design, develop, and support Azure Cloud Services and Cloud Infrastructure with a focus on high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Deep knowledge of Cloud architecture, including public, private, hybrid models, and Cloud Services (IaaS, IaC, PaaS, SaaS).
• Expertise in cloud networking (TCP/IP, VPC, VPN, DHCP, Load balancers, firewalls, DNS, routing).
• Innovate to improve infrastructure stability and simplify cloud services.
• Manage Windows and Linux server environments.
• Handle Kubernetes container-based deployments (AKS, Docker) lifecycle management.
• Design and manage Microsoft Active Directory/Entra ID and Group Policies.
• Automate provisioning and configuration management using Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Azure DevOps.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) through the full lifecycle.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Concourse).
• Ensure cloud infrastructure security and compliance; manage IAM, encryption, vulnerability, and key management.
• Use observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk, Kibana) to monitor system health.
• Develop dashboards and real-time insights for capacity planning and decision making.
• Create cloud cost reporting and optimize cloud resource utilization.
• Lead root cause analysis and postmortem processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical documentation.
• Provide off-hours on-call support.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of professional engineering experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Office 365, Azure Core Platform (Compute, Storage, Networking), Azure AD, Azure Automation, Azure CLI, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience provisioning virtualized cloud environments and managing Microsoft Office 365 suite.

Preferred

• Current Microsoft Certified Professional certification.
