🚀 About the Role:

As a DevOps Engineer at DHL IT Services, you’ll be an integral part of a development team working on scalable, distributed microservices-based applications. You’ll collaborate in an agile environment, driving CI/CD implementation, cloud-native architecture, and container orchestration.

🛠 Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance microservices-based applications using Java and Kafka
• Design and implement cloud-native architectures on public cloud platforms like Azure
• Automate and streamline development processes with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Containerize applications with Docker and manage them with Kubernetes and Helm
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment
• Contribute to internal tools and frameworks to enhance productivity and efficiency
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing

🎯 What We’re Looking For:

• Strong development skills in Java and experience with scalable, distributed systems
• Proficiency in Kafka for event streaming and message brokering
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
• Knowledge of Helm for package management in Kubernetes environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Understanding of public cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Strong software development best practices and design pattern knowledge
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills in spoken and written English
• Collaborative mindset for cross-regional teamwork
