Key Responsibilities

• Ensure user-visible uptime and quality, providing operational and development expertise to make systems fail rarely and fix fast when they do
• Minimize manual involvement by implementing continuous improvements with new tools, monitoring, alerting, and automated self-healing & recovery
• Identify and analyze application problems, implement automation to prevent recurrence, and automate responses to non-exceptional service conditions
• Engage in application performance analysis, system tuning, and capacity planning
• Present analyses and recommendations to the team
• Own the day-to-day health, uptime, monitoring, and reliability of services and server infrastructure
• Practice Agile and Scrum methodologies

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in Azure Cloud Infrastructure and setup
• Skills: Experience with Azure CI/CD pipeline, automation tools like PowerShell, Terraform, Python
• Experience with SSL certificates for new setups/renewal processes
• Good understanding of network technologies, protocols, DNS, and Firewall concepts
• Azure Services experience, especially ARM templates
• Degree: BS or higher in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
• Experience with PowerShell and MS SQL databases
• Experience in ITOM
• Passion for improvement and driving action with a sense of urgency
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across teams
