Roles and Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitor and handle network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot circuits with local exchange and long-distance carriers.
• Escalate calls to vendors/principals when required.
• Monitor and troubleshoot LAN and WAN connectivity.
• Maintain technical and operational documentation.
• Configure network changes to ensure optimal application performance.
• Resolve network issues, including latency and packet loss.
• Support enterprise cloud networking incidents.
• Work with ITSM modules, including ServiceNow.
• Manage and troubleshoot complex BGP and OSPF networks.
• Configure VLANs, Trunks, EtherChannels, VTP, STP on Cisco switches.
• Ensure security configurations on Catalyst switches.
• Communicate effectively during major incidents.
• Support multiple technical teams in a 24x7 environment.
• Analyze data, generate reports, and present findings.

Tools Knowledge:

• SolarWinds, Thousand Eyes, NetQoS, ServiceNow

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, switching, and routing.
• Experience in Cisco Enterprise Networking.
• Understanding of OSPF, BGP, IPv6, Multicast, STP, VPC, TCP/IP, MPLS, VPLS, DNS, DHCP, AD, Cloud networking.
• Vendor management and troubleshooting skills.

Certifications Preferred:

• CCNA
