About the Role:

CSG is hiring a Platform Engineer I for its Ascendon Platform Management & Security (PM&S) team. As a key member of this team, you'll support and automate critical AWS infrastructure, manage identity services like Active Directory, and assist in maintaining a secure, scalable, and reliable platform. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers at the forefront of cloud innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
• Administer Windows-based systems, including Active Directory and PKI
• Collaborate with developers, DBAs, engineers, and administrators for platform support
• Build tools, scripts, frameworks, and documentation for internal platform operations
• Participate in an on-call 24/7 support rotation
• Implement and uphold cloud security policies and monitoring mechanisms
• Tune alerts, collect logs, and conduct security audits for compliance
• Execute customer change requests and resolve technical issues via ticketing systems

Required Skills:

• 2–4 years of hands-on AWS Cloud Infrastructure experience
• Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools
• Experience with Windows/Linux administration
• Understanding of cloud security models and best practices
• Familiarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a high-tech environment
