Job Overview:
Cotiviti is hiring an Associate SDET to work on both manual and automation testing across functional, UI, performance, and integration areas. This hybrid role is perfect for freshers or junior QA professionals with a passion for problem-solving, attention to detail, and a solid grasp of OOP concepts and automation frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Write detailed test cases and implement automated test scripts
• Conduct various types of testing: functional, UI, performance, etc.
• Test B2B and microservice-based distributed applications (Java, Angular stack)
• Perform defect tracking, re-testing, and root cause analysis
• Ensure proper execution of test cases and communicate results effectively
• Work closely with Agile Scrum teams and participate in sprint deliverables
• Contribute to the improvement of automation frameworks

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Strong grasp of OOP concepts
• Manual and automation testing experience
• Knowledge of automation tools and frameworks
• Familiar with IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ
• Basic understanding of version control (Git), CI/CD tools (Jenkins), and bug tracking (Jira/Bugzilla)
• Experience working on Unix/Linux systems and scripting languages
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Self-driven with the ability to manage time effectively

Preferred / Advantageous Skills:

• Hands-on with JMeter, Selenium, Spock, Docker
• Experience in Java, Groovy, Gradle
• Worked with GitLab, SVN, or similar repository tools
• Exposure to maintaining or improving automation frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices
